Henry VIII Small Bust

18.00

Besides his six wives, two of whom he beheaded, Henry VIII is known for his role in the separation of the Church of England from the Roman Catholic Church, the dissolution of the Monasteries and the legal union of England and Wales.

The Bust

Based on some of the many illustrations and portraits of Henry VIII, this sculpture was completed at our workshop in Bath and makes a truly regal addition to the mantel, bookshelves or occasional table for any 'royalist'

Around the Base

This bust features people and places from Henry's reign around the base. For this bust we have included Hampton Court, the Tudor Rose and the famous six wives; Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Katherine Howard and Catherine Parr.

The etch around the base bears the names of his six wives.
